Zi6 captures Galan as she is honored by NYILFF
If you're a fan of "Celebrity Apprentice," you probably remember Nely Galan as a contestant last season. While she was taking part in the challenge that focused on selling Kodak printers, we found out that Nely is a Kodak fanatic. She has Kodak cameras, a printer and makes photobooks using the KODAK Gallery.
Recently, Nely was honored for her contributions to the entertainment industry by Kodak Gallery and the New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) during a screening of "Celia the Queen."
To help capture Nely's achievement, we sent along a KODAK Zi6 Pocket Video Camera. Take a look at this video that shows her getting ready for her appearance at NYILFF.

PC Magazine names the Zi6 as an Editors' Choice

Kodak's Zi6—PC Magazine Editors' Choice in the pocket video camera category - was recently included in an article to help consumers learn more about the new video camera category. At the end of the article, recent reviews of each camera were included. The magazine's evaluation on the Zi6 gave the camera a four-star review and said the following:
"With the letters 'HD' emblazoned high on the front of its faceplate, the Kodak Zi6 clearly has different priorities in mind, and as such, it may carve out an interesting niche in this nascent category."
"The star here, of course, is the camera's video quality. The Vado and Mino can't touch HD60, the Zi6's highest setting, which captures 720p video at 60 fps."
"It is one of the more powerful speakers I've encountered on this category of device, and, coupled with the large LCD, it makes for a pleasant previewing experience."
"If high-quality image capture is a must, neither the Vado nor the Mino can touch the Zi6. Also, you get still-image capture and a handy macro mode that you won't find in any other device in this class."

List includes Phone with KODAK Imaging Technology

PC World Canada included Motorola's Motozine ZN5 phone with KODAK Imaging Technology to its preview of cool cell phones that will debut in North America this fall.
The ZN5 is the only phone to have KODAK Imaging Technology that can be instantly combined with KODAK PERFECT TOUCH Technology for brighter, more vivid pictures. It also features cutting-edge, easy-to-use controls that allow a smooth transition from phone to a five-megapixel camera.
"The camera also has a fun panoramic mode, which stitches together continuous shots into a single extended image," the article mentioned. "Pictures can be uploaded and shared in one click to the Kodak gallery or any other photosharing site."

Macworld reviews the Zi6

Macworld editor Christopher Breen recently reviewed the KODAK Zi6 Pocket Video Camera, giving the product a four-out-of-five rating.
"With the introduction of the Kodak Zi6, the pocket-sized camcorder market got a lot more interesting." Christopher continued by mentioning the features available on the Zi6 and how it compared to a competing product: "At $180, it's priced the same as the Flip Mino but is—with its potentially greater storage, removable battery, larger LCD, and HD capabilities — the better camera."
The review also includes a video clip that highlights the pocket video camera's features.
